Kibbitznest Liberal Arts Discussions are a collaboration with The University of Chicago Graham School to host presentations and discussions of original research.

Should art be accountable to moral standards? If so, what are those standards, and who are their arbiters? If not, in what sense is art answerable to the wider public? Through the cases of Leo Tolstoy and Oscar Wilde, we will explore the values at play when art and morals seem to clash.
